Volunteer from home

Wherever you are, it is always possible to help. Our department members collaborate with us from afar and you can too. 26 Letters believes in the power of learning as you work. This is why staff members are not required to have previous experience to join a department. Volunteers can learn on the job, try new things and aim for the impossible if needed. 26 Letters only requirements are passion, perseverance and respect. Simply choose a department and contact us!

All departments are founded in the same two ideas:

  • Results-based work: staff members have the freedom to work in the manner that suits them best, as well as to invest as much time as they want, as long as they produce results. Volunteers are not given a tight and firm schedule. Instead, they are given specific aims and tasks, How they meet those aims is up to them!

  • No hierarchy: even though co-founders make the final decision, volunteers and their ideas are incredibly valued. Co-founders are not bosses, but counselors that guide and support staff members to help them meet their aims.

1- CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT

In 26 Letters, we develop our own educational materials so that they can later be personalized depending on the students’ needs.

Mainstreaming ethics: All of our educational materials, regardless of the subject, constitute a representation of plurality and equality. Curriculum developers design exercises that foster equality, respect and kindness.

  • Choose a subject: English, Math or Arabic.

  • Design a lesson per week with the guidance of our Curriculum Manager!

2- HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE

Work towards ensuring that our families receive our humanitarian aid boxes each month by finding supporters for our cause and raising funds.

3- PROJECT PROPOSALS TEAM

Help us with writing project proposals and applying for grants. In the non-profit world proposals are vital. Help us to develop exciting projects and present them to a donor for funding consideration.
